Oh, I just love this idea. To be stranded with yarn and needles.... Of course with my choice it would have to be on a cooooler island since my favorite fiber would be Mohair. My second choice would be Alpaca. Any other Mohair fans out there?

Strands with which to be stranded? Well, sorry, mohair wouldn't be my first choice. But merino...preferably a selection in jewel tones,and some in a nice creamy colour...and a good book on Fair Isle or other patterned knitting, like Folk Vests or something by EZ or Swanson or Starmore...Yum! With a good selection of knitting and some way to make coffee, plus a stash of chocolate...I could be stranded forever!
