Has anyone been drooling over this bag that is knit/felt? It's in the fall 2005 issue in Interweave knits mag but sadly cannot be viewed online at www.interweave.com I really want to do this bag. Catherine |

A woman in my knit club is currently knitting it, and it looks incredible!!! I can't wait until she's finished and felts it to get the "full" effect!

| I just ordered the magazine to get this pattern-it looks unbelievable. Has anyone made it or seen it felted? I would love to hear more about it before investing in all of the yarn to make it! |

Oh, yes, vi. I believe it was intentional. If the model had placed both feet pointed straight out, heel to heel, it wouldn've looked even more like Mary Poppins. I have that movie and still like to watch it now and then.

What level of knitting is it? I love it and wonder just how long I would have to wait to do it.

We sold a kit for this bag and I am almost done with it - we had a knit along at the shop. I am working on the embroidery for the flowers and it looks so cool! I'll post a pic online at our site when it is done.
Also, there is a great article in the New Yorker magazine this week about Mary Travers and her writing of Mary Poppins and the process of making the book into a movie.
...as soon as I finish this row
