Thanks much, I hadn't seen this. Will have to go over and take a look on Friday. :)

Thanks, Trish. Hope I can make it...sounds like fun. Do any of you in this area belong to a Guild? Was on a website that had some info regarding the one in Phoenix and was wondering.

Anyone interested in meeting up for lunch there on Friday?

Wish I could, scarlet, but I'll be working Friday. I'm hoping to make it there Sat or Sun. Hope you'll be able to get together with some others, though.

Has anyone gone to this yet? Since I won't be taking any classes, I wondered if it would be worthwhile to go. (The Tempe Arts Festival is on this weekend, too, and I can only go to one thing.)

I went today for about an hour. Because I wasn't feeling well, I didn't sign up for any classes.
There weren't many vendors, maybe 10 or 12 (at least when I was there), but the quality of merchandise they were offering was excellent.
Was there anything you couldn't get online? Not really. Still, it was nice to get out for awhile and chat with other knitters and spinners.
I bought some lovely Romney roving to spin for socks and some magazines, but that was all.

Bought Lantern Moon dpns size 1, the sheepie tape measure, and a couple skeins of really gorgeous sock yarn.

| It was very small, but I still managed to buy. Got some beautiful Skaska cashmere/silk lace weight (free shawl pattern with purchase). You can't order from them or see their yarns on line, so I'm glad I went. I also got some fun stuff from textiles a manos. |

| I love Textiles A Manos, and I'm lucky to live close enough that I visit nearly every week for the knitting get togethers. I told my SIL to check out the market so I guess I should check in with her and see what the kids thought of it all. |
