I can't get over the price difference between the UK and the US. I've seen it on line in the UK for £25, and in the US for $18. That works out about 1/2 price. Grrrr!!!

That is a cute bag. I wonder if my local Joann's has it, 'cuz I have a half off coupon!! And I need a new knit bag. All of my other ones are full of knitting, and I don't have anywhere to put what I'm working on now. hehehe

Actually, it would be more than 1/2 the price cuz it's practically 2-to-1 pound-to-dollar exhange now. $18 is only 9 pounds. As it turns out, though, JoAnn's online price is $25, so at 25 pounds, it is twice the price.
See, this is why I can't travel Europe. In Scotland and England, I would go to McDonald's (cuz I was broke) and the "99 cents" menu was now the "99 pence" menu, which is twice as much. A basic meal for one at McDonald's was $8! :(
By the way, the bag is really cute and fun. |

OMG. That really bums me out. I'm sure there's a good reason why things that are available for sale in the US are twice the price over here. At least I hope there is a good reason.
You're right about McDonald's - it is v expensive and the portions are smaller here. When we were in the US a few years ago I couldn't believe how big the meals were and you get free refills too! We don't do McDonald's very often anymore. We can get a very nice pub lunch for 3 for the same price as 3 McDonald meals.
