Hi everyone - I've been handknitting for a long while, but was recently blessed with a LK100 Singer - the problem is, I think it's broken.

Everything is intact besides three of the plastic pegs that guard between each needle...is it possible to knit using this machine, or is it basically useless because the plastic guides have snapped?

I hope this makes sense, I can take a picture to explain what I mean if someone is kind enough to lend their expertise.

Hi: Where on the bed are the pegs broken? (ends- middle-???) If you could post a picture or a link to a picture that would help. Have you tried running the carriage back and forth? If so what happened when you got to the broken part?
