Did anyone watch this tonight? If you did, did you see the cabled scarf that Hailey wore after they arrested and questioned her? i was mezmerized....i'll try to post a screen shot when i can...

I was too busy obsessing over the ethics of Olivia stealing Hailey's panties to notice the scarf...but I'll rewatch on Tivo tonight and see if I can catch it (it just cracks me up that knitters can be so easily distracted from a storyline--happens to me all the time).

These posts are really strange when you don't watch the show in question. The ethics of Olivia stealing Hailey's panties??? HUH??? Never mind; I don't want to know.

Chris, does Mr. Rogers still change his coat?? He never appears on screen with puppets -- probably on the sidelines knitting, right??

I love SVU, and I also found myself to be in love with that scarf! I think it's interesting how the show is dealing with Olivia's maternity leave. . .
Over the years, all the L & O's have had some great knitwear paraded around on the actors. When they had Serena as the Asst. DA on L & O, she always had nice hats and scarves, as well as cabled sweaters. Jack McCoy wears some nice aran sweaters as well.

Haven't had time to recheck the Tivo for the scarf, but poking around the internet wasting time doing research, I came across this absolutely awesome Craftster thread on knitted Law & Order placemats. More details (and a special treat for SVU fans) on my blog.

Hailey's scarf was really cool! I've always loved L&O but realized a few years ago how subtly fashion-forward they could actually be. One spring Casey wore a lot of green and sure enough, the following fall green was everywhere!
Chris, to put your mind at ease, Hailey was reluctant to press charges when she was raped so Olivia stole her panties to get a DNA sample.
