Ok, so I knit scarves for everyone practically last year (along with a little store bought something), and at the end of my ds's K year, I knit the teacher a beautiful shawl.
This year, I am making washcloths from www.knittingknonsense.com to give as gifts :) :) along with maybe some pretty soaps to go with. I'm due to have the baby on Nov 29th (trying for a vbac, so they won't let me go past my due date), so major christmas shopping is just not going to happen. Also, I'll be nursing the babe, so I probably won't have much time to finish up on projects after she's born, so I thought this would be a nice gift.
What do you think?

I think that would be a great gift! I hope you find time after the baby comes to get in some knitting.

Oh - I love the idea of combining pretty soaps with handknit washcloths. Great idea. Next year I hope you do socks for everyone!

Great idea. Definitely very smart to finish up your projects before the baby comes.
