We note with sorrow that the website You Knit What is closing its doors.

| And there are still so many pattens to provoke snarkiness. Oh well, it frees up at least a few minutes of my time each day. |

| Gee, and we've still got every pattern in the Sexy Knitting book. Going to miss you guys. During Maryland Sheep and Wool, your website was the cause of the hilarity taking place in the lobby of Marriott Courtyard. (They offered to move a bunch of middle age knitters into a private banquet room becuase we were scaring the wedding party and prom night!) |

Sorry to see you go YKW.
Just looked at the other site - go fug yourself.....
sorry, but I can't resist commenting on the Dian Cannon picture....Every time I see an aging star with mega plastic surgery and those HUGE lips...I think of Janice from the Muppets. Does anyone else ever do that???

In case you crochet there is http://youcrochetedwhat.blogspot.com/
Adriane, I don't blame you, Diane Canon looks almost as bad as Prescilla Presley! What is it with the big lips? They look ridiculus! I wonder what plastic surgeon is convincing everybody to do the "bubble Lips".
Happy Knitting,
ana

ana....and to think these women WANT to look like that! Melanie Griffith is another one, oh yeah, and Goldie Hawn.

Oh yeah Melanie Griffith "crossed over the line" with those Michelin Tire lips. Why???? She was so cute before.....some age more gracefully than others.
I just spoke to a girlfriend and brought up the subject, she has her nails done in a salon where Diane Canon goes, and my girlfriend says that in person she looks great! From the back she looks like a young woman. Anorexic thin though and that her lips don't look bad in person. I sent her that picture on the fugly site and my girlfriend says that Diane does not look like that at all in person.
In my opinion maybe she has such a bubbly personality that may override the fugly.
Happy Knitting,
ana

It's probably for the best. I have often laughed out loud at work when surfing this site. I'm the boss, so I won't get fired, but it does affect my credibility.
