Well, that explains why I haven't had a biasing problem so far. I don't knit many cotton garments and when I do, I use blends, preferably the tubey ones, because of the lighter weight and less splitting.

I'm all for swatching but I'd prefer to know which yarns to avoid when buying for a garment to be knit in the round.
