Let's hear it for Teva Durham! Gosh I like the way she thinks! Her pieces are so sculptural. I like her referencing nature and medieval designs and making them modern.
My next wannaknit is her Lace Leaf Pullover in the Summer 2005 Interweave Knits. From what I can see, it is partly knit bottom-up,then top-down, meeting in the middle - I think. This is very intelligent knitting.
I agree she is one of my faves too. Her pieces are timeless and worth the investment to knit. I adore her Warm Wonderful Cable Wrap Shawl (what a name!) with the knitted loop fringe. The pattern is in Vogue Knitting Winter 05/06.
I do like her too. The ways she constructs her peices are so interesting and different! I am soo glad my secret pal got me a copy of her Loop d Loop book! The designs are all so interesting and inspiring!
