Let's hear it for Teva Durham! Gosh I like the way she thinks! Her pieces are so sculptural. I like her referencing nature and medieval designs and making them modern.

My next wannaknit is her Lace Leaf Pullover in the Summer 2005 Interweave Knits. From what I can see, it is partly knit bottom-up,then top-down, meeting in the middle - I think. This is very intelligent knitting.

Anyone else?

I love her designs, too. Leaf Lace is awesome, but I love the assymetrical fair isle in her book. It's just glorious.

Cheers,

Charc

I agree she is one of my faves too. Her pieces are timeless and worth the investment to knit. I adore her Warm Wonderful Cable Wrap Shawl (what a name!) with the knitted loop fringe. The pattern is in Vogue Knitting Winter 05/06.

Teva Durham's designs are amazing! Nothing ordinary here. VERY imaginative. I have her "Loop-d-loop" book and love it.
