thanks for nice comments. There's an online pattern for "knitted chocolates". Have to keep that on the back burner for next year. Wouldn't they be cute in the bowl?
Someone sent me a picture of the bowl they made from my pattern, happy to say they were very pleased with it, and it came out great!

I made 2 of these this year--one for a hostess gift for a post-Valentine's Day party, and one for a "hooray, you're engaged!" present. I used bulky yarn in bright red, and they were adorable--thanks for the pattern!!
