I've got a free pattern up at Amanda Knits. It's the Code 88 Hat, intended to fit adult heads. It's perfect for Valentine's Day (read the pattern to find out why!) and you can find it under the Patterns tab.
Enjoy!

The name made me look. Where I work a "Code 88" means a non-threatening animal, like a tapir or goat, has escaped (a "Code 99" means a dangerous animal, like a lion or tiger has escaped.). Cathy |

I like the star pattern on the top of the hat.

Cathy--whoa, not how I intended it at all...
Although I suppose in this case you'd prefer to code 88 a code 88 rather than a code 99....
Trish, thanks.

I was bummed, too! Good luck with the Home Depot--the ones at my HD were all covered in dust! I just thought that meant they didn't sell much. I didn't realize that the whole shebang had been discontinued.
They do still make neon twine that would work, too. And a reader sent me a website where you can find lots of twine, but the minimum order is $50, so I haven't encouraged anyone to use it...
What I want to know is this: Is Tyler a Prince (?) like Joan is a Princess? Because Joan is a Princess...

Hey, I forgot all about this thread!
Tyler is definitely a princess. I am very sad to report that our other dog, a Doberman, had to be euthanized yesterday (lymphoma) so she is kind of a sad dog right now.
Anyhow... I guess I could use the neon twine. The rainbow twine was so cute! Maybe I will luck across it on ebay or something. |
