I started a pair of socks, "just for fun". Some white sock yarn from Bernat. I really did not have a pattern. I wanted to try the "magic loop" technique. Got it, mastered it....now what?

I finished the first sock, half way thru the second and I can see I'm not going to have enough yarn. I am sick of looking at the white, boring socks.[crazy]

Does anyone want a sock and a half? I'll send you the stuff just so I don't have to look at it anymore. Yet, I can't bring myself to just throw it away....help!!!

Spray some Pledge on the finished sock, and use it as a duster...and frog the partial sock. LOL

Or frog the sock and a half (after all, it WAS a learning experience) and find some contrasting yarn and reknit with different color heel and toe and maybe the cuff.

Or frog and then dye the yarn if wool or cotton.

I talked to a gal at work, and she is learning to knit. She said that she would "fiddle" with the yarn...learning. Maybe we use it back and forth learning different techniques..
