1. Excellent advice to and from knitters at all levels.
2. Great laughs that sometimes only a knitter can appreciate.
3. Lots of different opinions, all valued.
4. Encouragement.
5. No one seems to take herself/himself too seriously.
6. New pattern ideas.
7. Knowing that I'm not weird for liking to knit, no matter what my teenaged kids say.

What have I forgotten?

Becky

11. Total acceptance of each other, warts and all. Like friends who help you to sing your song when you've forgotten the words.

chris (feeling mushy today)

Keep on knittin', mama, knittin' those blues away!

Here! Here! (or is it Hear! Hear! ???) This is one of the *NICEST* group of knitters I've known. I haven't seen any flame wars here like on other boards or lists. Such a supportive & encouraging atmosphere.

I really like the fact that there is always something new to read when I come here. It's so inspiring to hear about other people's projects.

Thanks!

Just like to say that I totally agree with all the above. This is the nicest friendliest knitting forum. The thing I like best about this forum is that it is completely unintimidating, and I feel free to ask no matter what about knitting without being made to feel stupid.
Well done Clara!
