I ordered my DT Lendrum today from The Fold and it will arrive next week :) She said she would ship it today!!!

where did you order yours from? did they mess up the order?

I ordered from webs, but UPS screwed up..
the driver decided that he didn't like my address..
now they normally mail you a card....
but if they mail to my physical address, I won't get it...
they need to send it to my po box.....or mailing address...
I had a few tense hours ( ok about 28 tense hours)
worried that they would mess this up
UPS told me they were coming back out..... but they didn't
then they finally got it here
I had said I wanted it signed for
but they just left it
webs was great....
UPS was not so good

ps: all it looks like is cream singles..
not really that bad, cause I have been spinning since may 2004...
I had a few flubs...
I am going to finish this bobbin up today or tomorrow.... and then ply it.
if it is ok, I am going to dye it and make either socks or mittens
after this I have roving that I already dyed to spin then I have to dye some more
I have tunis, corriedale and border leichester in the house
I am not sure what I want to spin after that...
alpaca?
cashmere?
merino?
mohair?
Thaddeaus?
what say you all?

Pixie, what was the shipping like on your wheel from the Fold? They don't say on the site. If I have to wait 2 months for the Lendrum DT from The Woolery, I'm tempted to get the Kromski Symphony. The Kromskis are so lovely, although it seems they take more fiddling and setting up and I'm so new to this (only hand spindled). Plus the Lendrum complete has the fast flyer and plying head which the Kromskis don't. Is that a problem in reality (all you Kromski owners)?

I believe The Fold has DT's in, they should anways I know I was the only one they sent out last week. It took 5 to 7 days. They can do faster shipping of course, but I like free shipping :)
She gave me a free niddy noddy, free oil, and a big old bag of roving to practice with.
