I would like to get a gift certificate for Christmas for my SIL who lives in Blacksburg, VA. Can anyone recommend a good yarn shop there...and if so...do you have a phone number for them?

Thanks!

The only yarn shop in Blacksburg is Mosaic. That is where I learned to knit last year. I know they do gift certs because I received one for my bday. Here is the contact info...
880 University City Blvd, Blacksburg, 24060 -
(540) 961-4462

Hope that helps.
There is also one in Roanoke (~1 hr away) called Needle on the Square. Have not been to it but I heard on the forum here that it's very good.

I second that. They have a lot of novelty yarn but it is balanced with a lot of quality wool, alpaca, DB, Noro, etc. They have also recently started carrying Eucalan wool wash and I think they are the only people in town that do!
Glad to help
