I don't know if this is the right forum, but this *is* a gadget...
I desperately want a black sheep tape measure. Apparently they are extremely scarce. Anyplace online that sells them says they have a massive waiting list, that there's only one in every few dozen white ones, or that they only ebay them. I've been keeping an eye on ebay and have yet to see one. Lantern Moon says they can't help me because they can only sell to retail shops, and in bulk.
Anyone have any other ideas where to look? I don't mind paying some more than retail (I think retail's about $9 most places) as it's my Christmas $$ from hubby I'm spending but I don't want to spend a ridiculously stupid amount of money either. |

I want grey and black and maybe cream and maybe white... I'll check my LYS this week to see if they still have some they had a black one last time I was in and if I would have known how rare they were I would have picked it up.

definitely ask your LYS - when we get them in, they're almost all white, and a few black ones get added in. Maybe they could save one for you?

We were told that in the dozen per pack, there would be one black sheep. Could have well changed though, this was a good 6 months ago.

I was at Jo Anne's the other day, and they had dark grey, almost black ones, for something like $6.

| I got one of the Joanne's sheep, and it is cute! It's a charcoal grey color and the package says $4.99. It works as well as my more expensive white Lantern Moon sheep. I love them both, though! :) |
