I like Bloglines because it makes it easier to keep track of what's going on in my favourite blogs. Recently I read that Wendy (www.wendyknits.net) has 172 knitblogs in her list. I only have 15 blogs, and probably 15 more that I check from time to time. I'm just curious as to how many blogs do you read regularly? I'm hopeless when it comes to reading, I spend all my spare time either knitting or reading. I've got piles of magazines and books everywhere which I intend to read someday. Yeah, right. Who am I kidding? I don't want the same happen to me with blogs

I don't have Bloglines, but I do have 35 knitting blogs bookmarked (and about 2 dozen artist/creative types as well). I actually read the artists' ones more frequently than the knitting ones for some reason. Maybe because they talk about the creative process, and that can refer to ANY kind of craft or art, not just fiberwork.

Oy! My bloglines say that I have 94 feeds...talk about addicted! Although, I check them in order of the people I have come to know over the past few months in the blogging world.

At the moment, I have 54, though that list grows regularly. I also have maybe another 10 blogs that I check regularly (because their systems don't allow subscription through bloglines).
It might depend on the sort of blogs on the list - some people might write twice a week, or they might just write one-paragraph entries. Others (like me! ) write much longer entries and might write more frequently. I've also noticed that there are a lot more people posting during the week than on weekends - I guess bloggers do have lives after all.
The part I love is that you can add stuff like weather forecasts and comics to your blog-list - so that I know what the weather is in my state and I get to see the daily Dilbert without having to bookmark another page.
Cheers, Ada

I have 117...and I only add knitting blogs to my bloglines account, so any of the other fashion, political, cooking, etc. blogs that I read aren't included. Although, I read a lot fewer of them than I do knitting blogs! :-)

I have 124. Not everyone posts everyday so it turns out to be about 20 or so a day. I read in the morning and evening as a way to escape from my children with out leaving them alone. it's therapy for me.

I have about 115 or so. Basically if I find someone who I like/amuses me/I click with or the like, I add them. Once a day I do my reading. It doesn't really take long. It's like reading my e-mail.

Wow I really thought I read a lot of blogs but I guess I don't. I only have 29. About half of them post almost daily, most of the rest post at least weekly usually a bit more, then there's my sister who hasn't posted since before MDSW. I'll add a blog to my listif it has gorgeous pictures, great humorous, inpsiring or thought provoking writing, or belongs to a friend. Most of the blogs on my list fit at least 2 of those criteria.

I'm up to 86, and 84 of those are knitting related. It's grown recently as I've added spinners to the list. When I first added the bulk of them, it was overwhelming. I got so behind, and seeing that I had over 300 new posts to read kinda freaked me out. Once you get to know the personalities of the blogs, though, it gets easier to keep up with.

Whew! I thought mine was getting heavy. I have 69 so far. I add blogs whenever one looks interesting. After you read them for awhile it is easy to keep up with them. You get to know them or at least the projects!

Bloglines is a big help- and I have around 15 on my list- and another 15 bookmarked because bloglines can't track them. Does anyone know of another service that maybe picks up the others. It's such a time saver- rather than going to each site and see if there are new postings.

Home Jewel- tried to leave you a comment on your blog regarding your beautiful kids and especially your redhead son (I have 3 red heads- 2 daughters and a son) but your blog only allows comments from blogspot users.

17, two of which aren't knitting-related.

Oh, I hope someone does! I follow about as many without Bloglines as I do with, and if some of them weren't so fantastic (Grumperina, Knit and Tonic, etc) I'd skip them entirely because Bloglines is so easy. I feel like I must be missing some easy way to track all of them!
