I have a skein of the new kidsilk haze starry night and I want to make a scarf similar in length to the airy scarf in 'last minute knitted gifts'. I like the airy scarf that I made before, but I would like something a little different now--and maybe a bit more elaborate. Any suggestions?

I second the branching out. It is the perfect amount of yarn for it. I've gotten a million compliments and haven't even worn it yet. Alternately, there is also a nice free scarf pattern at yarnmarket.com.

I really like the branching out scarf, but I think it might go better with a different color. I'll be adding it to my future plans. And thanks for the yarn market tip. I found a pattern for a feather lace scarf I really like there, so I think I will try that one.
