I have some navy blue mercerized cotton in sport weight to knit up. (Brand name 'Bambi') I also have about 300 yards of white mercerized cotton in sport weight that could be added to it somehow in a project.

I was thinking something along the lines of the honeymoon cami in knitty, but if is going to be for me, I really have to have something with wider straps so I can wear a bra with it. Although, I suppose I could make it for my sister...

Any other suggestions? I'm open to almost anything!

Why not just knit the honeymoon cami with wider straps? When you sget toward the end of the shaping just end when you have more stitches instead of 3 or 4. You can either do a double I-cord, flat straps, seed stitch straps would prevent rolling. Use your imagination.
