I think it can apply to a lot of different times when life throws us for a loop. I recently came off a LONG period of unemployment (or underemployment as I worked contract while looking for permanent), and I now feel like I'm getting my life back in order again -- felt that way after my divorce too. A sense of trying to regain a routine and sense of normalcy and balance. Knitting helps. :)
