There was a hat in Knit1 (first issue) that used Kool Wool, but it was a crocheted hat. I can't remember if it was one or two skeins.

I knit the Hot Head hat in SnB in a solid color with 1 skein of kool wool- but I used every inch of the yarn.

Thanks for the suggestions. I just gave away my copy of knit.1 ... but I still have SnB ... so I can use up the mysterious skein of Kool
Wool in my stash! (I have no idea where it came from!)
