It seems like a lot of the ones I really want to see are in the Main Hall. I may start there this year. The first year I went through all the barns and thought I was done. Then I came across a building labeled Main Exhibit Hall and nearly fainted when I went in. I may start there this year and work my way back.
I don't remember Brooks Farm. The guide says they are outside but it's not clear where. Are they that first booth that you come to as you enter with all the lovely handpainted yarn in many materials? Oh, I guess that could describe a lot of them! I'll just keep an eye out for them.
Usually I wander from booth to booth and I may not notice the name of the company.

Yes, I think that's the booth just to the left of the entrance, across the way from the info booth. But don't hold me to it...
Can't wait to see everyone!

You know that's the one I like, too. But you also like various shades of orange! I wishthey had it in more colors, like shades of burgundy. I would like that, too.

You guys are getting me revved up as I read your plans and goals for shopping this year! I think we'll be there on the Sunday, and I'm going to start at the main barn, too. Most of the vendors that I seem to buy from annually are grouped in there.
I still have not gotten up enough nerve to eat a deep fried twinkie. I envision my coronary arteries being coated with creamy white fat and globules of yellow oil, ew. I like the lamb burgers!
Hopefully I can go around with you guys some, because you are better at finding bargains than I am. Looking forward so much to seeing everyone again!

Anita: I'm not generally an orange-liker - except for the gorgous bag you gave me!
'Becca - call me when you get there - I'd LOVE to wander with you! (I'll send you my cell # privately)
Bess: Share? You're kiddin, right? <vbg>

How could we all forget? YARN HARLOT is going to be there as part of her bookbookbook tour!! She should definitely be at the top of everyone's "Must See" list! Bring your copies to get signed! And, if you want to try spinning, stop by the Interweave booth and get one of the CD spindles that they give out...I think they give a little lesson, too.

| I am all excited reading this thread. This will be my first time there. I saw that people are talking about where each of the vendors are, but I am not sure where is where. Is there a map of the fairground (online somewhere)? I printed out the list of vendors and already highlighted the must see. My husband laughed at me :) |

I did the same thing... and my DH just looked over and asked me what day I was going. The map/layout is on their web page. I saw the link in one of the messages.
