They add up to just a little over 800 yards. The color is a dark purple color, so it's not really what most people think of for baby projects, and anyway, I love the yarn enough that I don't think I want to give it to anyone else. I'm just stuck on what I should do with it myself.

I totally understand, believe me !
You may be able to knit a sleevless shell, or camisole. A top down design will stretch your yardage too. Hat/mitten and-or scarf set. Simple shawl perhaps...

Hehehe...I'm so glad someone understands! And here's the thing - I made a Big Bad Baby Blanket from Stitch N beach for a friend who loves purple like I do, and I chose a fab Koigu colorway of purples and pinks:

So it's not that I'm opposed to making baby things with darker colors, and clearly I have people to give them to. But I figure I gave away a Koigu blankie, so I maybe deserve some Cashmerino love. Yeah, that's it.
