I want to add a 'bobble' to an afghan I am knitting but don't really remember how to do it (I guess that's what it's called, it's a little ball). Can you help me.

Sylvia- Here's how I learned to make bobbles - Knit into front, back and front of next st, turn. P3, turn. K3, turn. P3, turn. Sl 1, k2tog, psso. I hope this helps.

I hate making bobbles with knitting needles, but I do like the way they look. So I make them with a crochet hook instead, and just slip the last loop onto my knitting needle when I'm done.
