Hello,
I just joined Knitters Review. I live on a farm near Culpeper VA. I would love to hear from other knitters in the area.
For my current project I am using handspun yarn to knit a pullover sweater with a rolled-neck. This sweater I designed using the "Sweater Wizard" PC program.
Recently I finished a fur-look scarf with a twist. I am ready to plan my next project. I also spin for my knitting and weaving projects and dye the fiber from my angora goats. I would like to make a knitted felted bag or hat.

Hello Maggy

Welcome to the forum. I'm down highway 17 from Fredericksburg so not exactly in the neighborhood but I'll be at the retreat at Graves Mt. Lodge in November. I hope you can make it at least for the day. Check it out on the front page of the forum.

I just knit up my very first project, a tam, from my very own handspun yarn.

I'm a spinner and knitter too. I live in CT, have been knitting for 40+ years and spinning for 13 years. Nice to have you aboard.

Hi! Welcome to the forum and I am new myself. Have wrote a few times
and posted and thought I would introduce myself. I am a single mom
who just loves to knit. Right now I am knitting the Woodside Sweater
which I told members about in the newest edition of Cast-on Magazine.
Check it out if you can. I am longing to make a Knitters Retreat- anywhere- some day. Can't make this one because I have a wedding to attend. I have a soon to be college bound son...tomorrow he leaves...
and live in a small New England village in New Hampshire...and adore
it here...and yes, we do wear lots of wool :) Thanks for the opportunity to write and please email me if you would like to chat!

Thanks for the warm welcome.
I live North of "Graves Mt Lodge" on route 29. I am planning to attend the November retreat. I am getting ready to sign-up. It should be a lot of fun.
Even though I live near I plan to stay over at the lodge.
