Does anyone know where I can find the forum that told about the Revolutionary Knitters in Canada at the financial thing. I do know that Madame de Farge watched and knitted whilst royalty and aristrocrats were guillotined--sat in the front row. Wouldn't that somehow damage your knitting? Wouldn't it damage your cause? Why would anyone want to do that? It was another age, another time. Beverley

My quote might be more fitting than one would think.

"Be kind to your neighbor, he knows where you live!"

Hi, Lavender: I do believe you are correct; however, I believe Madame de Farge was the first! Beverley
