It sounds wonderful! Why don't you just write up the pattern listing the yarn you used along with all it's specifications (meters, fiber content, brand, color numbers etc) and be very accurate with your gauge. We american knitters are pretty good at making substitutions.
I can't wait to see it!!!

Elisa and everyone who's interested in the pattern,
I did keep the notes I made for a while but I can't seem to find them anymore. However, I used Caron Simply Soft for the entire sweater. I made the pencils/crayons first. The tip is made on dpn's the rest is made with flat stockinette. I made all the pencils/crayons, sewed them together, picked up stitches to finish front and back. The sleeves are regular drop sleeves. The applications are made from single crochet chains sewn to the finished sweater. Hope this helps. I intended this sweater to be an entry for the TKGA contest in 1999 but once it was finished my daugther wanted to wear it and it wasn't suitable for submission anymore. I'm proud to say that I got lots of positive comments on the sweater and it makes me sad that I didn't keep my notes. If you give me a couple of days I can write instructions for the pencils, they are the tricky part, from there it's only a basic drop sleeve sweater.
