I've ordered some yarn from the theknitter.com (April 23) and I haven't received the yarn from them yet. Email and phone call from me went unanswered. Does anyone here has similiar experience? Thanks

WOW. I would say that's VERY unlike Judy. I think she's a bit overwhelmed with the sock club she's running - her responses to me have slowed down a great deal since that started. I sent her an e-mail question yesterday, so we'll have to see how long it takes her to get back to me.
I suspect she just doesn't have enough help - everytime I've written with a question or comment, I've always gotten a direct response from her, no one else. I've been very pleased with her service at www.theknitter.com in the past, and hope she gets some help with the sock club! Hopefully business isn't so good she can't handle it!

I got a call back after I post this message, coincidence?
When I arrived home this evening, guess what but yarns are waiting in my mail box, oh it is so nice. Cash iroha, 40%silk, 30%lamb's wool, 20%cashmere, 10%nylon. It is both feast to the touch and to the eyes. It is so beautiful that all the frustration associated with ordering are all forgotten.
I take that she now has helper, the call back was from a man.

I'm still waiting for my stuff, it figures every thing I ordered was out of stock. I'm itching to get my hands on the Rowan Linen Drape and also the Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece. I emailed them yesterday to see what's up. Niamh

Morning all, From what I know about theknitter...yes, they are still around! The man who called back , was probably Judy's husband, Chris. He is the one who does all the packing and shipping and often answers the phone. Judy did hire some help for Sock Club shipping too. Hope that helps. If you can't get a fast enough response with email- I know she gets hundreds of emails weekly, I know I have had good luck reaching them by phone in later afternoon (they are mt. time).
