I wasn't going to tell y'all until the pictures were up, but Tripod is being b****y again and won't let me upload anything. So I'll try again real late tonight, or, that failing, at the crack of dawn tomorrow.
But it's done! All the squares sewn up, all the ends woven in, everything. I had to knit four more squares--since of course, I had one more sent in that would divide into even rows--but that's okay, I had plenty of blue and purple yarn in my stash.
Thank you to everyone who knit for this! I love all the squares, and I wish I could keep it!

Oh, Lizzi, we are the ones who should be thanking YOU!! All the hours of work in collecting squares, taking photos & posting them for us to see, sewing together squares and weaving in ends, even knitting more squares... You are the best!!! I can't wait to see it; from all the photos I've seen so far, it will be gorgeous, and in no small part thanks to your efforts. Carol |

Ppl who are willing to take on this sort of task astound me. Having to sew together umpteen squares would not be my idea of a good time.
I think it's wonderful. Thank you. When does Clara get it?

The final pictures are finally up!
And due to Clara's wonderfully prompt response to my PM for her mailing address, I was able to get it packed up and shipped off this morning. She should have it in a week or so.

Thanks, Lizzi, she's gonna love it! Why on earth I used green is beyond me, except it's my own favorite color. By the time I went back and re-read the posts, I was almost done. Still, you did a great job making it look like it belongs. Which of course, being a thank you to Clara, it does!
