Has anyone made this sweater? It was in Interweave Knits last summer. It has a plain ss front and a very dramatic lace back. It is gorgeous! However it is sleeveless and I have bingo arms (see the explanation in another thread -- very funny) and no longer like to wear sleeveless tops. I'm thinking about making it with short or 3/4 length sleeves using one of the 2 lace patterns. In my mind (scary place) it looks really pretty, but not sure about reality. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I think a flutter sleeve of the more open lace pattern would be lovely. It would hide the bingo,, and lighten the look of the front of the garment.

Let us know how you get on!

That's what I'd do, lucybug. It's a very pretty pattern. Post a picture when you're done - I'd love to see it.

Reminder to myself: PROVISIONAL cast on for EVERYTHING except toe-up socks.
