Just returning from a weekend in Vermont with Green Mountain Spinnery at the Saxton's River Inn. The class by Amy Herzog was excellent, beyond my expectations. The food at dinner was also very good and their beer selections were more than adequate.

On the disappointing side, the Inn is a bit run down and there was no hot water for showers either day . Also, I was surprised that the Spinnery didn't offer even a token discount on their yarns.

No hot water for showers? Did they give any reason? I know hot water's expensive, but people expect to be able to take a warm shower at least. I imagine no hot water would cut down on their repeat customers.
