Clara's been busy! A radio interview, a magazine interview gone viral... In case you missed it, here are some links:

Modern Farmer: Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Wool But Were Afraid to Ask, which led to...

New York Magazine/The Cut: Tell Me Everything You Know About Wool, which was followed by...

Esquire Magazine/Your Daily Tips: The Case Against Cashmere. And wait, there's more...

Wisconsin Public Radio: Interview with Anne Strainchamps, which you can download and listen to.

We couldn't wish for a more articulate and passionate representative of the knitting community. Thank you, Clara, and congratulations!

Clara, I love what you said about swatching in the WPR interview! We don't "date" our yarns prior to jumping in and marrying them. It's given me a whole new perspective on swatching. THANK YOU!

Keep on knittin', mama, knittin' those blues away!

Happy Holidays all...

It's a fact; Knitting is cool, just like bow ties and Fez(es?)

Clara, you're like a walking encyclopedia of wool, and it's really cool that you're educating not just your knitting peeps, but reaching beyond that into adjacent worlds. It's surprising to me that most people don't realize that fireman's blankets are typically made of wool, specifically because they are resistant to burning, but I suppose that just tells me how far down the rabbit hole I have fallen. Just the other day i was at a party where people were talking about some fancy-schmancy something or other, and how it was just trying to mimic the natural properties of wool and kinda failing...

Thank you Jane! It was a crazy week. Hopefully, at the bottom of it all, I was able to help further a) respect and appreciation for knitting and b) respect and appreciation for WOOL. Because without the sheepies, we would be mighty adrift.
