I am returning to knitting after 50+ years. I feel like a beginner with all the new products and beautiful patterns.

I grew up in Michigan and now live in Danville, CA. Have 1 husband, 4 children, 9 grandchildren.

Retired from nursing in 1996.

Knitting is my obsession and my "stash" is increasing. Have much to learn.

Welcome to the forums from Maine! I think you will enjoy the support and knitting inspiration found here. My stash is in various rooms and closets throughout the house. Trying to use some od it up, but as I do, more seems to appear......

Hi, AKnitWit, so glad knitting has sucked you back in. I didn't start knitting until three years ago, and wonder where it has been all my life. There is just so much to explore out there. Hope to see you post, and welcome, from San Francisco.

Hi Aknitwit, Welcome to KR From Chicago. My stash has took over my house. I'm now on a yarn diet, diets have never worked for me.
Happy Knitting. Donna
