I am newly retired. Mother of 2 - daughter and son. Grandmother of 3. I have been knitting since I was 7 or 8 years old. I like to try new stitches and patterns. I find knitting meditative and I derive a sense of accomplishment when a project is finished.

Hi Bmitch, and welcome to the KR Forums! I am in Baltimore, Maryland. Are you from eastern Canada?

This is a great place, and I hope you enjoy getting involved! Are you knitting something now?

I'm on my perpetual socks, and starting a shawl.

Best wishes,

Anna
