Hello everyone, I have been making lots of socks lately and just have not found a bind off for toe up socks that really worked for me. So I have been playing around and came up with this improvision to an old favorite.

Done -- really love this technique. All of the stretch, none of the flare I sometimes get with other stretchy bind-offs. Thanks so much for sharing your technique!

Hi Miriam! Let me know if you have any problems. If you do send me a message.

I am within a few rounds of finishing a toe up sock so I'm going to try the inside-out trick, Kristina. Perfect timing!

Hi Lori: You could also try to turn the sock in-side-out and do the bind off from the inside. Knit the two first stitches in pattern, slip them back to the left needle and ktogtbls. Continue in this manner all around the sock. It makes for a very stretchy bind off, and there is no need to bind off extra loosely.
