Posted - 12/22/2012 : 09:10:48 AM Help please! I wore this collar last night, receiving MANY compliments. One friend asked if I could make her one just like it. Well, that's almost never possible since my work is almost always OOAK, and in this case, I have no more of the shiny silver yarn and don't even know what it is.
It is black and silver, jersey-knit ribbon yarn with TINY round mirrors embedded into it. They do not appear to be beads. Does anyone know what it is? Have any? Know where I might find some? Your help is much appreciated! Louise

Posted - 12/25/2012 : 12:54:51 PM I'm glad you identified it. I will say it is a most attractive collar/swawlette! judy |

Posted - 12/23/2012 : 05:25:33 AM I FOUND IT!!! OOAK=One of a Kind! The yarn is Trendsetter Emmy - discontinued! But a Facebook friend identified it and I found it on Ravelry. It's been paid for and is being shipped.
I made another one yesterday, similar, but with yarns from my own stash. It's called a collar, not a scarf, but shawlette is another good descriptive name.
Thanks for your reply. Have a very Merry Christmas, Louise

Posted - 12/22/2012 : 9:38:58 PM Uh oh. OOAK? Translation please?
Very nice, although I'd call it a shawlette instead of a scarf. Wish I could tell you what the yarn is. I wonder if there is a way to look it up on Ravelry?
