Posted - 04/27/2011 : 04:06:11 AM Hi everyone! Please help me interpret the following instructions: "Switch to st st and knit straight until piece measures 10 in." Does it mean, I knit on every row? Thank you so much. |

Posted - 04/27/2011 : 04:36:35 AM Hi, I'm a new knitter also but I think I can help with this one. Switch to St means stockinette stitch. Which means to knit right side (rs) and purl wrong side (ws). It helps when you start project to mark which is the right side of your project. The rs will be the knit side which is smooth. Then cont. until piece measures the length stated, in St st. Also You Tube is great for new knitters.
