I made very pretty felted roses using Nicky Epstein's Over the Edge cabbage rose and leaf patterns. You can glue a pin back on or even a barette clip for a small girl. It was a lot of fun and uses up small amounts of yarn in a lot of different colors. Good Luck!

Posted - 10/23/2007 : 1:34:59 PM I have that book too, so I'll have to look specifically for those patterns. Thanks for pointing them out. I have a Vintage Bubble Bag from Pursenalities that I use a lot that's crying out for some sort of decoration like that.
I also have Nicky Epstein's Knitted Flowers book, and might make a rose or daisy from that. |
