Posted - 03/28/2009 : 08:42:14 AM I want to make the diagonal lace scarf (on Ravelry at http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/diagonal-lace-scarf ) but I want to add beads at regular intervals. Problem is, I'm having a hard time deciding how often and on what stitch to place the beads. I think it would look best on the YO ladder but I can't figure out how to get it on there. I've tried pre-strung and crochet hook methods but neither worked to make the bead encircle the ladder, unless I'm lacking a "magic" trick of some sort. If not on the YO ladder, then which stitch would you put the bead on that would be easy to do and look nice? Thanks in advance for your help suggestions. |
