I just completed a project using Marion Foale washable wool and, while I loved and adored the yarn, scared-y pants me, I'm distrustful of the 'machine washable' claim. I greatly abused a small swatch to see how it would act - it softened, bloomed beautifully, retained it's elasticity & bounce - but wondered about durability and pilling. Anyone have experience with Marion Foale wool?

Cheers, Carol

I'm not familiar with this yarn but had to google it. Have you checked Ravelry? It gets good ratings over there but there were two comments that weren't so good. Might find some other info on the project pages.
