Posted - 03/29/2012 : 02:17:16 AM I love that book, and have made many, many hats from it. At knit night, when I took one hat I made, everyone asked where I got the pattern....and these people all owned the book! It's on page 92, and has only one (very poor) photograph - they had all overlooked it, so perhaps you did, too. It's called "flower pot". http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/flower-pot I made the basket-weave hat in black, and the flowers in 5 brite colors. I put 5 flowers on the top (using each color for a stem, and a flower) and did the flowers around the hat in all 5 colors.
The mother of the recipient told me that she gets comments everywhere they go, and everyone loves it. It just seems like it is an overlooked pattern in a very nice book, so thought I'd bring it to your attention.

Posted - 03/29/2012 : 06:31:47 AM Yep. I've got the book. Knitted hats from the book. Never saw that hat before. Thanks. (I'm not very observant apparently.) |
