Posted - 03/05/2011 : 10:03:44 AM Hi everybody, A question here- I'm doing reasonably well, (I think,) for a newbie knitter, but I'm encountering a rather vexing problem. Certain stitches, most notably K2tog seem to be sloppy, and stand out in a less than attractive way from the rest of my stitches. SKP isn't bad, but K2tog, and especially SK2togp look quite out of shape in the long run.
Is looseness characteristic of some stitches or is it just me? Will improvement come with practice, do you think?
My purls are good, thank God.

Posted - 03/05/2011 : 11:04:49 AM K2tog does look a bit "sloppier" then for example ssk, but once your gauge is a bit more even it will look just fine. Practice makes perfect as they say :-)
