introducing the class of 2007
The voices of 90 knitters still echo around me. We came together for the sixth-annual Knitter's Review Retreat last weekend. For those who couldn't join us, allow me to bring this special event to you.

From Toys to Tools
I grew up building simple things with my toys, but never in my wildest imagination did I think you could actually make a fully functional knitting machine out of them. See Thomas Johnson's ingenious creation in action.

In the Forums: Quietly Knitting in the Background
Some knitters will whip out their yarn and needles anywhere they go, regardless whether those around them "get" their knitting or not. Others feel shy and worry they may offend those who don't knit. What's your policy about knitting at social gatherings?
