Knitter's Review
July 20, 2006

summer colors on a quilt

Nothing feeds imagination like knitting. As your fingers work the stitches, your mind can go in all sorts of directions. I often fuel the process by listening to music or an audiobook as I knit—and I know I'm not alone.

This week, I review a musical CD for knitters that brings the listening and the doing together in perfect harmony. It's called Wren Ross's Greatest Knits and it's about, you guessed it, knitting!

In the Forums: Cruelty to Yarn
It's one thing when other people do cruel things to your yarn. But fess up. What's the worst thing your yarn has suffered at your own hands?

In Memoriam
We are deeply saddened to note that knitting and food author Barbara Albright passed away on July 5th from a brain tumor. She was 51. Our heartfelt condolences to her family.
