Knitter's Review
September 2, 2004

cozying up for the winterFour years ago this week I sent out the first issue of Knitter's Review to a few dozen adventurous knitters. Today, some 200 issues later, we're nearing the 20,000 subscriber mark, and our forums have almost 30,000 members.

I am humbled by our remarkable growth, and I am excited to continue the fifth year of our journey together.

Although the love of knitting remains as strong as ever, we have seen some changes over the past four years, especially in the realm of technology. Today nearly every major knitting store and organization has an online presence, as do many knitters. And another form of technology is being harnessed for knitters: interactive DVDs.

This week, we face technology head-on with a review of a new interactive DVD entitled The Art of Knitting.
