|Earlier this week I received a box from Westminster Fibers, the U.S. distributor for Rowan and Jaeger yarns. It contained color cards, pattern leaflets, price lists, and sample skeins of their new yarns for fall.|
Although such events always excite me, I managed to maintain my composure until my hands touched one skein of pure, plush, heavenly softness.
Suddenly I was ready to ditch it all and open a yarn shop with the sole intent of stocking enormous quantities of this yarn.
A few deep breaths later, I calmed down and set about reviewing the yarn. It's not available in stores yet, but you'll be better prepared for that first encounter than I was.

You'll learn about basic color theories, how to use a color wheel, and how to make even the wildest colors come together harmoniously. Then you'll learn techniques for knitting with multiple colors of yarn.
